K's TAG - $100 at M.A.C
There is a tag going around the beauty blogs at the moment, the tag is if you had $100 to spend at MAC what would you buy. I have never owned and MAC products so I thought this would be a fun tag to do.
Makeup in Australia is very expensive so this tag is very hard for us Aussie bloggers. For $100 in australia you can basically only get 2 or 3 things which is kinda sad for us but i will attempt this anyway.
My first choice would be the Mineralize Blush in 'Ring of Saturn', it looks so pretty and shimmery and looks like a great blush to add to my collection.
R.R.P AU $43.00
The next product would be an Eye Shadow Pro Pan Refill in "Phloof!' it is such a pretty neutral shade and would be perfect for any eye look. This would be a colour I would use everyday.
R.R.P AU $26.00
Total so far AU $69.00
The last item would be the Studio Fix Concealer in NC20, I use concealer everyday and would love to be able to use this product everyday.
R.R.P AU $ 26.00
Final Total AU $95.00
These three products would be my fist choice if purchased products at MAC, the cost of makeup in australia is way over price from high end brand like The Balm, Nars, Lara Mercier, Chanel etc and even drugstore brands such as Maybelline and revlon are way over priced for us.
I loved doing this Tag and will tag anyone who read this post.

Revlon ColourStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow - Reviewed by K
This eye shadow quad is in the colour 575
Delightful, it has a matte highlight shade, a goldish outer
corner shade, a light pink all over lid shade and a dark shimmery brown for the
crease.
These eye shadows are very pigmented but are a little chalky if applied
to heavily. The quad can be used for day or night time looks and can create
many different looks for different occasions. On the back of this product is an
indicator as to where to put the colours on the lid, this is a very good guide
for beginners.
There are 12 different colour combinations from brights to neutrals.
This eye shadow quad has become my new go to palette and I will be looking for
the different colour combination to purchase in the future.

K's NOTD Dorothy Who?
My manicure
for the next few days is Dorothy Who? From
China Glazes’ Wizard of Oz collection, this nail polish is in my Top 10 nail
polish post. I love this colour for summer as it is a bright blue with
beautiful silver shimmers. My bottle of this polish is past halfway now and I am
thinking of buying some backups cause I love and use this colour so much. This
polish is really thick and applies so smoothly and evenly it only really needs
one coat but I do two to intensify the colour. I defiantly recommend the colour
for people who love glitter, I am completely in love with this colour.

REVLON SUPERLUSTRIOUS MATTE LIPSTICK - REVIEW BY E
I also recently purchased this lipstick along with my Revlon gift sets and my Essie polishes. This lipstick was a steal at only $7! It’s RRP is $21.95 AUD, as soon as I saw these lipsticks at this price my head was screaming “Buy It, Buy It”. The packaging reminds me of a MAC lipstick and the item contains 4.2 grams of product. The finish of this product is absolutely gorgeous, it has a slight orange tinge to the overall nude colour. It applies really creamy and the consistency is really nice for a matte lipstick. It does exactly what the name says so if you are someone who prefers a shine to your lips I would recommend you apply a corresponding lip gloss. My personal favourite is the Australis colour inject lip gloss in the colour ‘contemporary’. Overall I am quite pleased with this product and am very happy I found it at a reasonable price. It was purchased at Cosmetics Fragrance Direct where they sell a whole variety of products at lower prices.
I would definately reccomend that you guys go and purchase this product cause i love it!
Enjoy your day

K's Top 10 Nail Polishes
I
thought I would do this post to show a bit more of my style and what I like and
show my all time favourite nail colours and what I recommend.
My
all time favourite would be China Glazes’ Flip
Flop Fantasy. It is the perfect neon pinky coral colour, it makes my hands
look so tanned and I know I will be obsessed with this for summer.
Next
would be China Glazes’ Dorothy Who? It is the most beautiful glittery royal blue.
It has silver glitters in it and doesn't feel clumpy or chunky on the nails.
I love Australis’s Peek-a-Boo it is a
creamy pastel purple colour. This colour if perfect for all year round as it is
neither a cool nor warm colour. It only
takes one coat and is so opaque.
The
next colour is from Orly it is blue and aqua duo chrome called Its up to Blue. It is very sheer but can
be applied over other colours for the duo chrome affect.
OMG I love this colour by China
Glaze. It is holographic silver, it the most amazing colour in the sun, it
gives off rainbow sheen.
The
next colour is my go to nail polish, it is so opaque with only one coat. It is
a colour when I am in a rush to paint my nails but it still turns out
beautifully. It is L.A Girl, it doesn't have a name but is a metallic purple with silver shimmers.
I have
two Ulta 3 colours in my top 10, the first is Mojito, it is neon aqua green, and it is a creamy finish that is
very opaque but is a little streaky so it takes patience to get a nice finish.
The
next colour is a metallic silver from Rubi Shoes just called Silver. This colour is so shiny and
applies so beautifully. It is very cheap
and I think I got it for $2 which is good for the quality that the nail polish
is.
The
last polish is from Nutrimetics, it is called Hibiscus, it is the most beautiful summer colour. It is a mid toned
orange with gold shimmers in it. The formula of this polish is great it is very
opaque and applies evenly with only one coat.
I
love every nail polish I own but these are some of my absolute favourites. These
nail polishes are my go to colours and are mostly on my nails all the time.

E's TAG- 10 Products I Would Repurchase
10 Products I Would Repurchase!
Yay i am really excited to finally do this tag! These products that i have included in my tag are the products i would repurchase straight away without even thinking twice about them.
My first favourite is the Australis 'Nudist' Palette, as i am sure you all know i have talked about this many times before. It is the perfect palette to create any eye look and has really awesome pigmentation of colours. Sadly though this product is no longer available as it was a Limited Edition product :( . I will be sure to keep my eye open to see if i can pick up another one sometime soon.
My next product i only recently re-discovered how much i actually missed it. It is the max factor xperience foundation in the colour sugar cane. I really love this product, it is really lightweight on the skin and gives the perfect amount of coverage for a foundation. Prior to this i was using the first edition of the garnier BB cream and i have only really noticed how oily it can actually get on my skin. I switched back to my xperience foundation to see if that was any better and i immediately noticed how much i missed it!
The Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder is one of my all time favourite powders along with the Australis ' fresh and flawless fixed powder'. I really like the rimmel powder because it dosent apply an extra layer of foundation to my skin when i apply it over foundation or BB cream. This is great because it dosent apply thickly and mattifies the whole face to remove oily or shiny areas. This i what i use when i apply the garnier BB cream to my face and it removes the oil from my face it is also a great powder to use when 'setting' your face after foundation.
The next product i have is the e.l.f blush in the colour 'blushing rose' . It is the perfect blush for any look wheither it be a day time casual look or a dressy night time look. i love this blush because it gives my skin the perfect pink flush of colour as well as adding a slight shimmer of gold.
My maybelline eye studio gel liner is my absolute favourite eyeliner i own. It is really simple to apply to the eyes and gives any eye a dramatic or subtle look depending on what you aim to achieve.
The other maybelline product i have is the eye studio 'colour tatto' in the colour 'bad to the bronze'. Oh my god you guys i cannot tell you how much i love this product! It is my favourite shade out of the whole entire collection, it can easily be used as a base product or other shaddows can be added to it to create more dramatic looks. (For more info on the colour tattoos visit our first review on the maybelline colour tattoo products.)
My next and most newest edition to my makeup collection is the covergirl 'lash blast volume' mascara. Wow, this product really lengthens and volumises my lashes making them more visible and dramatic. You can apply a thin coat of this for an everyday look or you can really build it up to create dramatic lashes.
Another product that i rave about is the essence 'long lasting stay all day' concealer. it is the perfect creamy concealer that glides onto your skin and blends really nicely. This product covers up any under eye circles or blemishes/redness i have.
One of my most cherished products is the maybelline baby lips. I have just about every colour and love every single one of these lip balms. They are the perfect moisturiser for your lips and are able to remove dry or rough skin leaving you with beautiful lips.
My final product is also one that i have only just added to my collection not too long ago. I have already fallen in love with this. It is the 'revlon lip butter' in the colour '090 sweet tart'. This product is the perfect lipstick in my opinion. It moisturises your lips as well as acting as a lipstick. This colour is the perfect pink-red shade that complements my skin tone quite nicely.
As always if you have a question or comment feel free to leave it in the comment section below. If you have any enquiries please dont hesitate to contact us on blushingbeautiesau@gmail.com . If you would like any further reviews or updates on any information feel free to let us know.
Hope you enjoy your day!

K's TAG- 10 Products I Would Repurchase
I
have wanted to do this tag for a while, I am a little late to jump on the band wagon
but I thought I would do it anyway. So the story for this tag is if all your
makeup is stolen what would be the 10 products you would have to go out and buy
straight away.
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector
– this is in the colour 02 light/clair
I love this products as it is just the right amount of coverage for everyday
and it does clog my pores or feel heavy on my skin. This product is very
affordable and I use it every day so I would be lost without it.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer –
this product is so creamy and smooth, I use I on my under eyes and on blemishes
and it blends in easily. This product matches my skin tone perfectly and blends
very well with my Garnier BB cream. It is in the colour 10 light.
Australis Fresh and Flawless
Pressed Powder – this is known to be comparable to the MAC Studio Fix Pressed
Powder, I love this powder it is a perfect match for my skin tone and makes my
skin look so flawless. It is in the colour deep
natural, there are only 3 colours in the range but they are very sheer and
blend naturally into the skin.
Maybelline Baby Lips – there
are many flavours in this range and I love them all but my favourite would have
to be mango pie, it smells so yummy. I
have nearly finished my first tube and have already bought a back up. It leaves
my lips so moisturised and soft with only one application. Since I bought this
product I never go anywhere without one, there is one in early every bag I own
:)
Essence Get Big Lashes
Volume Boost Mascara – this mascara is very good quality for the price, it
gives my lashes so much length and volume with just a thin coat, I wear this
nearly every day.
Australis Colour Inject
Lipstick- These lipsticks are so creamy and apply so smoothly. They are very
affordable and come in wide variety of colours and finishes. My favourite would
be Hula, it is a coral pink colour
wit orange tones. This colour suits my skin tone perfectly and goes with
everything I wear, I use this at every opportunity I can.
Milani Eyeshadow – this is
the perfect all over lid colour for me it is in 22 Sheer Sand. It is a metallic light brown. It is very pigmented
and goes on the lid evenly with no creases. I use this in nearly every eye look
I do.
Australis Nudist Palette- it
is the Australian equivalent to the Naked Palette, it has beautiful colours in
a variety of shades. It is very versatile and can turn a day time look to night
time easily with one product. It is a product I could not live without.
Covergirl Lipstain – this is
in the colour 400 Everbloom Kiss. It gives
the perfect light wash of colour that lasts all day. These lipstains can be applied lightly or
darker for a dramatic look. I use this everyday for school as a light wash of
colour as I don’t like my lips naturally.
Australis Eye Primer – this is
the only eyeshadow primer I own, so I use this every time I use Eyeshadow. If I
didn’t use this product my eyeshadow would crease every time. This is a life
saver for me.

NOTD- ESSIE 764 LADY LIKE
I just recently purchased this polish 2 days ago. This was my favourite polish out of the ones i purchased. I really like this nail colour as it is a taupe colour with a slight lilac tinge. I have nothing like this in my collection and it was my first purchase of an Essie polish. It is a really natural nude colour that looks great on the nails if you want to go for a subtle look. I am really happy with the quality of this product also as it applied very smoothly and i only needed one coat!
Enjoy your day!

LoL Cosmetics - Review by K
Last
week I went shopping at Kmart. I was looking at the makeup section and spotted
this little section that I hadn’t seen before. It is a brand called ‘lol’ or ‘lots
of love’ all the products were $3, I just thought I would get a couple of the
products to try as I thought they would be a crappy cheapo brand. I was surprised
when I got home and tried them, they swatch so pigmented and apply very
smoothly. I got three products to try a blush duo, a 5 set Eyeshadow and a lip
gloss.
The
blush is in ‘coral’, it is a duo and both colours have some shimmer the one on
the left is a more orange coral colour with lots of gold shimmer that catches
the sun beautifully, the one on the right is a pinker coral that has a little
bit of gold shimmer but it is only noticeable in bright light. Both of these
colours are very pigmented and apply very smoothly.
The
Eyeshadow set is in the colour ‘see a penny’ the colours are gold brown and
copper tones. These shadows are very pigmented and apply easily to the eyes,
they are easily bendable and can be built up for a more pigmented look. The
colours are quite similar to the Maybelline Eye studio ‘Give Me Gold’ quad so
if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to it this is it.
The
lip gloss is quite sheer but has the best smell, it smells like those
strawberry lollies with the jelly in the middle, if you haven’t tried them you
are missing out :) . The colour of the lip gloss is ‘pomegranate’ I don’t know
how the colour of the lip gloss relates to the colour of pomegranate but it is
a nice colour, it is a good formula that isn’t sticky or watery it is the
perfect consistency.
Overall
I think I will go back and purchase more from this brand it is very affordable
and very good quality for the price. There is a good variety in colours and a
range of products from lipstick, foundation, bronzer, liquid eyeliner and much
more. The only store I have seen sell this is Kmart, if I find it anywhere else
I will update you.
If you have any questions feel free to email us at blushingbeautiesau@gmail.com or leave them below in the comment section.
I hope you found this helpful or interesting.

This or That! - TAG by E
Blush or Bronzer?
Blush i like my face to have a natural flush of colour on it to keep it fresh
Lipgloss or Lipstick?
A couple of years ago i would have definately opted for the lipgloss but these days i really enjoy wearing different shades of lipstick on my lips
Matte or Shimmer eyeshadow?
Most of the shaddows i have in my makeup collection have some sort of shimmer in them anyway, it dosent really bother me that much so i would have to go shimmer eyeshadow.
Gel, Liquid, Cream or Pencil eyeliner?
Gel eyeliner for sure, i find it really easy to apply and gives the smoothest finish. I really love the Maybelline EyeStudio Gel liner.
Foundation or concealer?
Well at the moment my face routine dosent actually consist of foundation, i apply the garnier bb cream then concealer with a finish of the rimmel stay matte powder. So for this choice i would choose concealer.
Liquid or powder foundation?
As i mentioned above i dont currently use foundation but prior to that i was absolutely in love with the maxfactor xperience weightless foundation which is in liquid form.
Neutral or statement eyes?
It really depends on the occasion but moslty i find myself wearing fairly neutral eyes.
Pressed or loose eyeshaddows?
Definately pressed! loose eyeshadows are way to messy for me.
Waterproof or Non-waterproof mascara?
I have never personally tried a good waterproof mascara so if you know a good one i would love to know. so my answer is non-waterproof.
Brushes, Sponges or Fingers?
i use a mixture of brushes and fingers. I use my fingers to apply concealer and bb cream while brushes I use for all eyeshaddow needs as well and blush and face powder.
Powder, cream or liquid highlighter?
I am not really into highlighters that much, i dont like shiny finishes to my face.
I TAG ANYONE WHO READS THIS :)

Brand Review - 'Australis' Review By K
Happy
25th Birthday to Australis!
The
products for review today are all from the brand Australis, which is and
Australian based Makeup Company, they have been operating for 25 years and
still going strong. The products are very affordable with every product from
the brand being under $20. Australis is also against animal testing and are
accredited on the “Choose Cruelty Free List”. The products include The Lip
Travel Case, The Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder, The Eye Shadow Primer,
The Nudist Eye Shadow Palette and The Colour Inject Mineral Lipsticks.
The Lip Travel Case
This product is aimed for
use when travelling as the packaging is very compact and the lip glosses
themselves are small and can easily be put in pockets or a tiny clutch. The lip
glosses give of a sheer and natural colour. The formula is not sticky and it
leaves the lips soft and smooth. The colours range from a nude to a bright red,
these colours are very confronting in the packaging but give a soft natural
finish.
R.R.P
$14.95 AUD
Fresh & Flawless Pressed
Powder
This powder comes in three different shades
that will match anyone’s colour as they blend into the skin easily and
naturally. It can be used by itself or layered over a foundation or bb cream
without looking cakey. It can be applied lightly or built up for more coverage
easily.
R.R.P
$11.40 AUD
Eyeshadow Primer
This product is very long
lasting and prevents creasing of eyeshadows. It is very smooth and is a clear
consistency which is easy to blend. It is very inexpensive and is defiantly worth
the money. It has a doe foot applicator which makes this product easy to apply.
R.R.P $12.95 AUD
The Nudist Eyeshadow Palette
This
palette is said to be the Australian version of the naked palette, it has all
the colours anyone would need for neutral daytime looks, it also includes
darker colours that can be used to darken the eyes for a more dramatic look. All
colours in this palette have some shimmer. This palette is great for beginners
and is the perfect alternative to the Urban Decay Naked Palette as it is not available in Australia.
This product is limited edition so get it while you still can.
R.R.P
$9.95 AUD
Colour Inject Mineral Lipsticks
These lipsticks
come in variety of different shades and finishes, some glittery, shimmery and
even matte. These lipsticks are very pigmented and apply very smoothly and
evenly. This product contains SPF 15 and Kakadu Plum Plum (which contains Vitamin
C), Vitamin E, these lipsticks are very moisturizing and leave the lips feeling
soft and smooth.
R.R.P $12.95 AUD
All products reviewed are my
top picks from Australis and I recommend trying some of these products if you haven’t already.
