E.l.f - Online Order Review

Hi lovelies,

A few weeks ago I ordered from Elf online, this was a massive purchase with my friends so we could get free shipping {cause who wants to pay for shipping when that money could buy more makeup, am I right?}

I was really happy with some of my purchases but some I really regret - {sadly}

So here is the list of what I purchased
Total - $37

So lets start with the regrets -

Healthy Glow Bronzer - Warm Tan - while it was only $1 I really don't like this product, it is a total metallic bronze colour, not something I would use for bronzer at all. It is a colour I would use as an eye shadow, Which is what I have been doing, but I definitely did not need to purchase this as I did not need another brown/bronze eye shadow.

Studio Bronzers - Warm Bronzer - I had really high hopes for this but just wasn't up to scratch. Its not very pigmented and more of a highlighter than a bronzer

Luscious Liquid Lipstick -  Cherry Tart - I am in love with the colour, but the thing I dislike is the texture, it is sticky and oily and does not feel nice at all. I am very picky with lip products so it might just be me, but feels like a lip gloss.

Lets move on to the positives -

Moisturizing Lip Liner - Natural Blush - this liner is so smooth and creamy and for the price it is amazing! Totally recommend. My next online order I may have to buy up like crazy as I have gone through it so quickly.

Brush Shampoo - this is so good, has a nice clean smell and leaves brushes so soft and fluffy.

Complete Coverage Concealer - Light - this concealer pallet is absolutely amazing, I have been using to contour and highlight, so pigmented and blends so easily. Great for traveling and includes a small brush. Definitely recommend this as a cheaper alternative to the Australis Cream Contour pallet contour pallet

Essentials Lipstick - Voodoo & Nostalgic - These are so creamy and pigmented, perfect amount of colour for a casual look, For the price these are pretty good, i should have chosen different colours though cause they are similar to what i have, the next one i want to purchase is Fantasy, which is a brown tone, perfect for autumn

Stay Beautiful

Australis Velour Lips - First Impression

Hey lovelies

Quick review today -
Australis is a brand that a absolutely love! I have tried so many products and they all work amazingly
Velour lips! They are a matte lip cream, with extremely long wearing formula, they have a doe foot applicator to make the most perfect precise applications.

I had heard a lot about these - Velour Lips - heard they were a great dupe for Lime Crime Velevetines and Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

These Velour lips are so matte, like extremely - you definitely need to have moisturized before or put some kind of lip balm on. These look quite dry if your lips are not in good condition, so I recommend to exfoliate and moisturize prior to application.

They are quite pigmented but it depends on the shade you choose as some are more opaque then others.

I got the shades, HON-O-LOO-LOO and BAE-JING
Top - HON-O-LOO-LOO
Bottom - BAE-JING

These colours look nothing like they do on the Australis online store, so I suggest to go in store to test them before you buy. But other than that they are amazing and very affordable, definitely recommend

Huge Homewares Haul featuring IKEA, Kmart and Bunnings!

Last week I decided to refurbish my room in time for the recommencement of uni. I made a trip to IKEA, Kmart and Bunnings and am I happy with what I picked up or what!

The desk I ended up choosing (from IKEA) is the MICKE corner desk in white, and boy do I love this desk! It is a perfect size for my room, it sits nice and snug in the corner of my room which means it doesn't take up much space. SCORE! The desk top itself is perfect, you can sit a computer in the very back corner and still have books spread out in front. This is perfect for being able to see everything without having to move your head back and forth. It also features a magnetic whiteboard with two shelving units on either side (which can be rearranged to your liking). The most unique part about this desk is the paper tray that pulls out under the shelving units, its perfect for keeping your desk tidy and decluttered.

The next item I purchased from IKEA is the famously iconic ALEX drawers. I picked up the 5 drawers so they could double as storage and a beside table. Again, I am in love with these too. They are perfect for makeup storage and anything else you may need, mine aren't even full yet (maybe because I haven't unpacked the rest of my room...).

The last of my IKEA haul was two beautiful pot plants (pot and plant sold individually). I am so STOKED that I picked these up because they make my whole desk area look fresh and clean. These plants are super inexpensive too (around $8 for the plant and pot), so super hard not to pass up.

Next on my homewares haul is Kmart; who can do a homewares haul without going to Kmart right? I picked up this beautiful rose gold candle holder and some tea light candles to sit on my desk (going for a neutral theme). It is simply stunning to watch this beauty burn; the holes in the jar allow for the most beautiful light leaks. The next item(s) I picked up from Kmart included some pillows, since deciding to refurbish my room I decided I needed some pillows to tie in the colours a bit better. Kmart has the most awesome pillows at the moment; some very on trend prints and only $10 a piece. I left with two reversible black and white grid pillows and a beautiful teal green pillow with the word "love" written on it in gold.

Next stop was Bunnings; here I picked up some mesh grid from the outdoors section to use as a photo hanging wall. It was $6 and I just bought some clear hooks to stick on my wall to hang it up. This piece was a total bargain for my room and a perfect way to neatly organise my photos (I spotted a piece like this in IKEA earlier for around $50!).

Well thats it for the haul guys! Let me know what was your favourtie piece of the haul in the comments below. Thanks for reading and have an awesome day!

Makeup Haul - Kmart & Myer

Hey lovelies x

The other day I went shopping at Kmart and Myer and of course purchased makeup {oops, I did it again}

I got 5 items from Kmart all for under $2

From lol {lots of love} I purchased a double blush set in the colour Chateau Rose - it is so highly pigmented and matte which I love cause glitter on my cheeks makes me look younger. It does come with a little brush but we all know how useless those things are, I have been using a Nutrimetics blush brush with the tiniest bit of product and it gives so much colour payoff.

 I also got a bronzer in Brown Sugar - it is the perfect shade for contouring and all over bronzing, especially when using fake tan. Again this product is matte so is the perfect finish for my face. I would definitely recommend this as a cheap alternative for contouring.

Lol is a very in expensive brand that is stocked in Kmart, it's the only place I know that stocks it so far. I have a whole post on this brand if you would like to know more -  LoL Cosmetics - Review by K

The next products are from OXX which is a Kmart owned brand. I'm not going to go to in depth on these products as I will be posting a longer review of the brand and all the products I own.

So I got 2 eye crayons, a silver glitter and a metallic magenta  - these are great as a primer, they make all shadows you place over them look amazing.

I also got a lipstick in the shade Henry Ford - it is a dark nude colour - I haven't tried this yet but it will be in the review that is coming soon.

I only bought 2 products from Myer, both from Chi Chi.

The first thing is a glossy lip stain in the colour Pretty Woman - so this product was on sale and I had no idea what it was going be like as it says it stains your lips a dark pink yet the product is actually a violet colour, I was very confused by that. But oh my gosh, I love this stuff. You can actually see the colour change when its on your lips, it's so cool. The colour payout is amazing and it doesn't wear off at all. I would 100% recommend purchasing one of these.

The other product is a makeup blending sponge - which is their version of a beauty blender. Now I had high expectations for this and it totally let me down {sad face}. I read reviews and so many people said it was amazing, but for me, I didn't like it. The sponge was too soft and I feel like it just soaks up all the product, which is exactly what I don't want it to do cause I want the product on my face not the sponge.

So I'm still on the search for a good cheap beauty blender, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know in the comments below
